Dr Wissam Jamal has completed Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery followed by Masters in Paediatric surgery from Damascus University, Syria. He is a member of the Syrian board in Paediatric Surgery & Arab Board in Paediatric Surgery.
Dr Wissam has vast experience of over 4 years in the field of paediatric surgery and major operations in paediatric in University Children’s Hospital in Damascus (Government Hospital) and private hospitals. Dr. Wissam specializes in surgery for infants, children and adolescents (from day 1 to 14 years) which includes neonatal and congenital defects, paediatric urology surgery/ paediatric general surgery/ paediatric plastic surgery (cleft lip and palate)
Dr Wissam attended several national and international curses including the 25th Congress of the Asian of Paediatric Surgery in Dubai, AAPS 2018 and the 12th Congress of Syrian paediatric surgery association in July 2019. Dr. Wissam is a member of Syrian Association of Paediatric Surgeons (SAPS), Syrian Medical Association (SMA)and Arab Board of Health Specialization (ABHS)
Dr. Wissam has attended several conferences and has various publications as “The results of augmentation cystoplasty in patients with neurogenic bladder dysfunction in university children hospital in Damascus” and “The result of Meconium Ileus (surgical management) in university children hospital in Damascus”
