Dr. Yasser Menaissy is a well-renowned & experienced Consultant, Cardiac Surgery with over 32 years of experience in the field of Cardiothoracic surgeries including open-heart surgery for coronary artery diseases, off-pump and on-pump CABG, arterial revascularization and minimal invasive heart surgery.

He has completed his Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery, Masters in Cardiothoracic Surgery and DM (Cardiothoracic Surgery) from the Cairo University, Egypt. He further completed Fellowship in Adults & Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Emory University Hospital, USA and Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery (Total Arterial CABG, Aortic Aneurysm surgeries, Aortic & Mitral Valve surgeries) at Torino University, USA.

Dr. Yasser has practiced as Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon in several hospitals in the UAE & Egypt where he has practiced in the capacity of Head of the Department & Professor in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Dr. Yasser is a member of several international & national organizations including Member of the American Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), Member and reviewer of the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), Founding Member, co-editor and reviewer at The Egyptian Society for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Member and reviewer at the Egyptian Heart Society & Member of the Egyptian Universities Promotion Committee Board for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Egypt.

He has several publications & presentations to his name, the latest being – “ Rescue cardiac surgeries after paediatric catheter-based interventions: A 10-year retrospective study” in the renowned World Journal for Paediatric & Congenital Heart Surgery.
