Dr. Manjula Anagani pursued her MBBS & MD (obstetrics and gynaecology) from University of Health Sciences, Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India following which she underwent training in prenatal genetic evaluation, laparoscopic training, hands on training in robotic surgery in Gynaecology and minimal invasive procedures under the guidance of eminent doctors.

Dr. Manjula is a Gynaecology surgeon trained in minimally invasive surgeries and has been recently awarded Padma Shri the highest civilian award by Govt. of India.

Dr. Manjula pioneered the art of laparoscopy in late 1990s when it was an emerging technology. Her achievements include evolving newer techniques in laparoscopy and minimal invasive surgery to make the surgery less complicated. She has performed more than 10,000 laparoscopic surgeries and is amongst the few doctors to achieve this feat.

She has also been widely recognized for her work on primary amenorrhea (absent menstrual cycles) and also pioneered a new technique to create a 'Neovagina' for woman with absent vagina.

Dr. Manjula is a visiting surgeon at NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah. She is associated as chief laparoscopic and Gynaecology surgeon with one of the leading minimal access surgery centre in India. She has passion for teaching and is associated as Faculty with many leading medical institutions in India. She has participated in numerous medical conferences in national and international forums by delivering lectures and presenting papers.
